“Sometimes life is going to hit you in the head like a brick. Don’t lose faith.” ~Steve Jobs
“Faith is being confident of what we hope for, and assurance of what we do not see. ~Hebrews 11:1
2019 was a tough year for me with new health issues to manage, a major surgery, and, in December, a serious car accident. Feeling roughed up and bruised emotionally and physically, I’m hoping the New Year will bring a needed respite. Yet I realize there are no guarantees that 2020 will be “smooth sailing.” So how will I approach this year and decade knowing it will most certainly contain more rough and bumpy patches?
I am choosing to approach the next year and decade with a faith and confidence that all will be well. More specifically, I will have faith in my inner strength and gifts; faith in my family and friends who are certain to support me, just as they have in the past; faith that God will not abandon me in my struggles, even though it may feel like it at times; and faith that, when difficulties come, life won’t always be this way; that there will most certainly be a brighter tomorrow!
Warmest regards,
